wordpress 3.5.1 cannot hyperlink images

Hi, I have added some images to my website, and i would like to add a hyperlink, however, the option to add a hyperlink has completely vanished! I am used to using 3.4, where the option for adding a link was in the image edit, but in 3.5, i cannot find it anywhere. has this option been hidden away somewhere, or do i have to get a patch just to make it work?
