• I did the wordpress 4.3 update last week. It resulted in the css on my homepage and other pages to malfunction. Instead of seeing the content, the pages show the CSS code.\\

My internet host tried doing a backup and running the site in a parallel environment, but this only resulted in an error, error 403, which was explained as a denial of access.

Later, my access through the ADMIN was denied due to error 403, but since I have been able to gain access again.

Can anyone please help with this?

I forgot to provide the link to the page. It is http://www.real-agenda.com

I think what you are seeing is not CSS code but more likely shortcodes used by a theme or plugin that might be having trouble.

    [display_news_s1 width="600" height="300" excerpt_l="30" include_date="false" posts_per_page="5" offset="1" orderby="date" order="DESC" post_type="post" category="science-2"]

You are right. What I meant is that this eliminated all the layout of the pages. Do you know if this has happened with anyone else or how to solve it?

    which plugins are you using?
    which theme are you using?

The theme is called local news. I am using many plugins. As for the code above, it is the standard that came with the theme. It had never happened before.

if you think the code is related to the theme directly, then i would suggest contacting the theme developer to see if they have a fix for short code issue.

Yes. All the shortcake you see there is the original short code from the theme.

    Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

It is most likely a theme problem with the new version of WordPress. Your support for that theme is at

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations. Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
