WordPress 4.4.1 Can't Login

    Hi,

    After updating some of my wordpress sites to 4.4.1, I have found I can not login.
    I go to the admin to login and it has a redirect issue. If I go to the front end of the website I can tell that it has managed to login me in as admin but I cannot reach the back end.

    If I go directly to the admin index.php page then it will work. But the login redirect fails when going via the login page.

    I have deleted cookies and cache as well as using multiple browsers. I have deactivated the theme and all the plugins as well as setting the .htaccess file back to a standard .htaccess file.

    I feel I have tried all the logical steps and nothing has resolved it. It also seems lots of other people are having the issue to.

    – Please check the error logs on your server for any specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging and post the results.
