So, you don’t think the update would affect plugins? Can I downgrade to the old version of WP?
The upgrade shouldn’t have directly affected the plugins. FWIW, I’m using CF7 on some of my sites and it seems to be working just fine post WP upgrade. It is possible, however, that you’ve hit a plugin or theme conflict. Or even that files for those plugins have been inadvertently damaged on your server.
You could try downloading both plugins to your computer, unpacking them and then uploading both folders to the wp-content/plugins folder on your server using FTP or use whatever file management application your host provides. That should remedy any file damage.
In addition, both plugins report compatibility with WordPress 4.5, so if you are encountering any bugs that re-installing the plugins doesn’t fix, you’ll need to contact their support.
I have a bit of a strange one. I have two separate site that are both running the exact same template, same plugins…same everything. One is basically a test bed for the other one. http://catasticproducts.com/ and http://www.drjayowens.com/
The only variable in this is hosting. Could that be the cause of it?
Luckily the test site is the broken one 🙂
EDIT the broken site has reverted back to the default template, which is better than it was doing. Initially it was just showing a blank white screen.
That’s a very different issue, would you please open a new thread about it?
