I have several sites using WP7 (latest), Wordfence (latest), and php 8.5.

On some, there are no problems at all. On others, I see errors from Wordfence, mostly pointing at xmlrpc.php in the Wordfence folder. After looking through the Wordfence docs and help files, I see that there might be issues related to the php .ini load of the waf files. So, on the site listed, I removed the prepend lines from the .user.ini file and poof! the errors disappeared. But, Wordfence wanted to optimize the firewall. I said OK. The errors reappeared, and the prepend reappeared in the .user.ini file.

Currently, the prepend has been removed from the .user.ini and the firewall is in learning mode, and there are no errors.

Interestingly, I have several other sites that are happily running the same combination with no errors.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @nicollb,

Do you have any examples of the errors being thrown on xmlrpc.php from the logs? Feel free to censor domain names or IPs here on the forums, as the wording of the message is the most important part.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Do you still require assistance with this @nicollb?

    Peter.
