wordpress access and transfer

I am trying to access my wordpress account but am being told that the password and user name do not match. I have my wordpress blog as a subdomain on my website however my website is down and i need to access my wordpress acoount in some other way. I am using the same user name and password that i use to log in via my website with no avail. Can anyone please help. I am also in the process of changing my domain host and need to know what info to give them to get my wordpress account transfered with it so as not to loose any of my blogs so far.
