WordPress Address (URL) changes by itself

    I have an interesting, but confusing issue. I’m not sure how this is happening.

    My WordPress Address (URL) keeps changing, all by itself. I want it set to https://example.com, which is the same as the Site Address.

    But it regularly changes – all by itself – to https://www.example.com

    I reviewed all the plugins, the database, WP-Config, .htaccess etc.

    I then discovered something interesting… if the WordPress Address is https://example.com and someone logs into the WordPress dashboard using https://www.example.com, then the WordPress Address updates itself.

    The issue is causing headaches with cache plugins, CSS, Preview mode and more.

    Is this normal? Is there a fix?

    By the way… I want to keep this private for now, which is why I used “example.com”. But I assure you, this is happening on a live WordPress site.
