• Hi there!

My question is how can I redirect mysitename.com to http://www.mysitename.com
through godaddy hosting. Now the funny part is I have done this in the past, and if I remember correctly it was through my .htaccess file.

However, I’ve tried fooling around with this redirect(is it a 401 or a 301) and I have not had any luck.

For what it’s worth, i’m running my wordpress site from a godaddy shared hosting(which is also hosting my OTHER wordpress site).

also, I can post my .htaccess file directly on here if it’s not a problem.

    Thanks!

A little bit more information. My main / site has the two hosted WP sites in it’s sub-directories. So it’s setup like this /X /Y

The /X site and /Y sites both have their own separate .htaccess files as well, do I need to tamper with those or just is it just the / site .htaccess that I should need to adjust.

I’d appreciate it if their are any seasoned WP/Godaddy vets here.

    Thanks!
