“WordPress annoucements” form on website broken

Putting your email address in the “WordPress announcements” form on the website and hitting return/enter results in a 404. Does such a list even exist? I can’t see one listed here:

I for one would like to be on such a list, if it exists, so that I can receive security advisories and learn when new versions are out which address security issues. If such a lists doesn’t exist, consider this a request that one be created.
