• I do realize that this topic has been covered numerous times. I am looking to build a site for a client that would like registration, newletters and the capability of doing the maintaining herself. I have downloaded DragonFly CMS and I am not sure that the client would grasp this CMS. I have used wordpress in the past as a CMS but what I was wondering is: Can all of these functions be added to wordpress? Thanks for any advice. I appreciate it.

  • All of what you have mentioned can be easily implemented via wordpress. There are numerous plugins that allow you to integrate a 3rd party newsletter manager to your wordpress website, one of which is newsletter manager, I’ve never used them but you can give that a shot. As far as managing the cms herself, you can give her Admin rights if you wish, or a lower level right such as a an author or contributor; this way she is able to only post new posts and pages, but not able to modify any visual or functional changes.

    Cheers.
