    2. My Second Query is when I go to Shop page it is not showing Product Category and Price Range, is it possible to get this ?

  • Hi,

    1. Seems you have tried to install the demo more that one time that is the reason for showing the duplicate menu, but no issue with that. You can remove it from the Appearance > Menu, remove the duplicate menus, and save.

    2. Go to Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Archive, here you can select the option to show the category and products from the Shop page display option.

TO set the price range please follow the doc: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

    Hi Abhishek

Thanks for your quick help my issue of duplicate menu has been resolved.

Regarding 2 point I think not able to explain it clearly. I want to also show ALL Product Category Vertically so customer can also go to the products page by clicking on category. Secondly where I can add some price range bar vertically above category list.

    Hopefully able to explain it.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for explaining the things.

Now I got your points, seems you need a sidebar or off-canvas filter.

If you want to show this in the sidebar like this https://store.oceanwp.org/shop/
go to Appearance > widgets, and add the category and prices filter widgets to your sidebar.

If you want to show the filters in the off-canvas filter like this https://outfits.oceanwp.org/shop/ goto Appearance > customize > woocommerce > archive, scroll down and enable the display filter button by clicking on checkbox.
Now go to Appearance > widgets, and add the category and prices filter widgets to your off canvas filter.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Abhishek

Thanks for answering my stupid and basic questions with patience. You mentioned it correctly that I am looking sidebar or off-canvas filter exactly like https://store.oceanwp.org/shop/

As per your suggestions I have done following

    1. Appearance > Customizing ▸ WooCommerce > Archives and select “OFF CANVAS FILTERING” and selected checkbox “DISPLAY FILTER BUTTON”

    2. In widgets to test and clear my concept I have added Filter Product by Price and Categories in Woocommerce Sidebar, Default Sidebar, and Left sidebar

But nothing is getting displayed and secondly I realized that instead of only filter button can I get filter bar ( e.g. red color bar ) and like https://store.oceanwp.org/shop/

Pl tell me where I missed out something or done something wrong.

Once again thanks for your help.

    Hi

Can you pl help for Woocommerce Sidebar Off-Canvas filter ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I apologize for the delay in response.

The Sidebar shows on the page and that always display.
While of canvas filter is just a button when you can use the same widgets as the sidebar but you can save the space on the page.

If the filter is not showing, goto Dashboard > Woocommerce > Status > tools and try to update the woocommerce database, clear the cache and check.

    Hi

Where to add this PHP code ? Pl guide me

    Thanks

    Hi,

You need to add the PHP code in the functions.php file of your child theme.
If you are not using the child theme, you can download it from here and add the snippet code.
