• Hi, so, I recently had to move my domain towards a new site on Shopify, and then I had to move the blog. Understanding that the blog was a subdomain I redirected the domain towards my new site. Doing my research trying to find my blog, turns out the blog wasn’t a subdomain, being a subdomain, the link would have been “blog.sitename.com” therefore I could have logged in to the blog like “blog.sitename.com/wp-login.php” but that is not the case. In my case it was “sitename.com/blog/wp-login.php”, but when I try to do that, it takes me to the Shopify site with an error, which is expected since it’s not wordpress.

Edit: Forgot to add my question.
Did I lose my blog? Is there a way to go back to it?

    “Did I lose my blog?”

-was your blog self-hosted or hosted on WordPress.com?
-if it was self-hosted, can you login to access the posts table of the database in your webhosting account?
-if it was hosted on WordPress.com — can you login to access your WordPress.com account to see if the posts are still available?

The domain was with GoDaddy, but it never gave me the option to login to WordPress through them, I had to write on my search bar “sitename.com/blog/wp-login.php” to be able to log into the blogs. But since now I redirected the domain to Shopify, it doesn’t let me login to the blogs.

did you pay GoDaddy to provide webhosting for your “blog”?
if yes, are you able to contact GoDaddy support to ask for assistance to get to the database area where your blog content would have been stored?
