    Hey guys,

This may not even be a WordPress issue. I recently had a wordpress.com blog, I had my domain linked to it. Then I decided that I want to host my own blog, so I got a server, and put WP 2.7.1 on it.

WordPress.com removed the domain mapping for the old blog. But sometimes when I go to my site, it still takes me to the old wordpress.com blog.

I’ve tried writing new .htaccess files, it seems like this started happening when I set my permalinks to month day and year, and had to add the mod_rewrite to the .htaccess file.

Any ideas what could be going on here guys?

    Thanks.

  • This could be a DNS propagation issue. Wait at least 48 hours to the changes take effect
