    Hi.

I am running wordpress, which I love by the way, and am running into a strange problem. Something is causing several core dumps per day, on the order of 200 or more. I have to delete them every three or four hours or they will fill up my account. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I run wordpress on a few web sites, and some of them do it and some don’t. The only diffrence between them is which theme is used. The worst offender uses a modified Classic theme. I don’t think the problem is caused by plugins, because I have disabled them and still have the issue. Any advice would be greatly useful to me.

I ran Default for about three hours, it only generated four dumps as opposed to the forty or fifty I would usualy get.

I’ll mail the server people and see about a PHP upgrade.

That’s what it was. I got the company to move me to a server with php 5 and now the problems are gone. Thank you so much. I guess I should look at the sys req better next time.
