WordPress changes image type

    My site content is travel and photography and the theme is Travelify.

    I use higher quality images in posts and with Slider Revolution. Suddenly, just recently, when I upload images via the regular WordPress Media upload my original jpg images are now uploaded and appear as png.

    I do not use any image conversion plugins. I resize and store my images prior to upload using my own authored software.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello Steve,

    Thanks you for your interest. I have managed to narrow down the issue. It only happens with a certain group of images so it must be related to the way these are being resized.
