WordPress doesn’t touch the content of the PDF file. What do you mean?

I upload my pdf into my media library but then when I link that to text in the page it changes one of the colors from red to blue when I click on open it in a separate document. Please advise!!
Again, WP does not change the content of the PDF. Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

Please click the “the stunning potential to create equity” picture and link. As you can see the first header on page 2 is introduction & purpose in the correct blue, however the pdf changes it to a hideous red everywhere else in the document and I don’t know why.
I see all headers in red.

Hi okay so now this is happening on a whole different pdf that I just uploaded… can I maybe connect with you off this/screen share? Because nothing should be turning red on that document or any of my documents.

WordPress isn’t that clever to target particular words and sentences in your PDF and colour them a shade of red. Are you sure you’re looking at the correct files?

So it seems to be messing up all of my uploaded PDFs. Like it seems to be altering them- can I slide share?

You can use an image uploading service on the web like snag.gy and then link us to the image.

Please remain calm. What I recommend you do is:
- Gain access to your hosting provider’s file upload tool or “FTP”;
- Upload one of the PDFs in question to the ROOT of WordPress (which is where the wp-config.php file sits)
- View that PDF directly in your browser by going to https://example.com/name-of-your-pdf.pdf
Then check if the issue persists.
