WordPress core file issue

    Every time I access the website I am seeing a white screen with an error “This page is not working“.

    I tried uploading the core file of WordPress, renamed the folder of the plugin and also checked with the theme as well but every time I refresh the website it is showing the same error and when I check the core file it is removing the content from the wp-load.php file. Every time I again upload the wp-load.php file and check the website it works and if I refresh again it again shows a white screen and if I check for the wp-load.php file it shows blank.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    I’m seeing several other posts about wp-load.php. I suspect that there’s an active hack going on.

    Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

    But I have checked for the malware issue as well but could not found any issues for the same.

    What plugins do you have installed? We’re looking for commonalities. There’s a theory on our side that some scanner that auto-cleans files could have a bad signature that’s matching on and clearing out that file.

    Thank you for your help. I figured it out, it was because of one the custom plugin which was causing the issue.
