    I am new to wordpress & first website for me.
    How to secure wordpress core files from hackers, which place to installn wordpress core files. Like in root folder or to move or install in sub directory.
    I have only one website. Which location is best for wordpress core files for security.
    please kindly help me.

    HI, T-P,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I checked that site, but there is no info about best location for wp core files.
    i want info about what is the best place for keep wp core files in root directory or sub directory.

    It probably doesn’t make a difference as to where you install the core files. I always install WP in the root folder for standard installs. The only time I defer from that is in special situations where I need to integrate WP with other apps, etc.

    The link that @t-p provided has many recommendations for securing WordPress and as long as you keep WP up to date and follow the basic recommendations such as using a security plugin, etc. you should be fine. WordPress is very secure “out of the box” 🙂
