    does duplicator also install the complete wordpress core version and is the wordpress core installation included in the backup? Or do I have to install wordpress separately and install the backup with the plugin?

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    After you install Duplicator on your website, you can create a full backup of your website that includes the core WordPress files. For more instructions on how to create a backup using Duplicator, please check this page:

    When you restore the backup, WordPress core, plugins, themes, database, and all the data included in your website will be restored.
