    Hello,

I am attempting to use a cover block in my webpage. I am using the theme called – lodestar – I have created a site on wordpress.com with no issues making my cover block full screen before…. I am now creating a site with GoDaddy powered by WordPress, and I am unable to make the cover block full-width.

Does anyone have a CSS code or something to help me with this issue?

    Thanks

See: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/cover-block/ – the 4th icon from the left in the options above the block allows you to change the width of the block. If this is not possible for your theme, you can contact its support: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/lodestar/

The button only has options for left, centre and right alignments… I am unsure of what to do now. I have created sites with the same theme before and had no trouble.

I also tried downloading a plugin to make the page full width and it worked for my cover block, however it messed up the rest of my site (paragraphs, posts, etc)

Then something in your installation must be affecting the block. With the TwentyTwentyOne theme there is also an option for Wide Width and Full Width. Maybe you use a plugin which is responsible for this. Or the theme is different in the .org installation. In any case you should contact the support of the theme.
