    Hi guys,

Just started to move my site from a local server to live, and that is causing alot of troubles. The last thing that occurs is when I try to access my dashboard. First of, when i type in http://www.offentlig.etikos.dk/wp-admin, it sorts of duplicate the adress so it becomes http://www.offentlig.etikos.dk/wp-admin/www.offentlig.etikos.dk/wp-admin – I have found a temporarely work around, so that is secondary.

My main problem is, that when i actually get into my dashboard its all white, except for the whole thing listet in blue links at the left.

It looks sort of like, that the “theme” for the dashboard is gone.

    Can somebody help me?

    Best regards

    Hi,

Had you copied all files and made necessary URL changes in the database?

    Hi,

Yes – the website is showing correctly, though I havent changed the permalinks(at the moment its down do to something shifting up), the main problem arises with the wp dashboard (which I btw cannot log in to from safari, but only from firefox) – can you provide any help? I would be most gratefull.

    Hi,

Just checked and found that it cannot connect to the database.

Had you changed the values in wp-config.php file.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Just checked and found that your database still contains old links
    eg: http://localhost:8888/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Untitled32-2.png

Please find all old links and replace with new links in your database and then upload. All will work fine.

    Thanks

Ok – I have been messing around and have created a series of errors I cant comprehend – I will reupload the database and the wordpress files and restart.

Is there anyway to change to localhost links with a sql command? Ive tried to command suggested in the wp-beginner guide, but apperantly its not all working.

all right guys – I have been updating left and right. Ive even downloaded the wp installation and reuploaded it – the dashboard is still wierd – its all white/grey with a long list of links to the posts and so on – but no css as far as I can tell.
