WordPress Database Errors/Crash

    Hello –

    My client’s WP site is down due to database errors. I tried to repair using WP’s repair tool but repair attempts failed. It said to come to the forum and list the following error information. Hoping someone will be able to help me resolve this issue. Thanks!

    wp_lcgg_posts: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly

    wp_lcgg_options: Table is marked as crashed
    wp_lcgg_postmeta: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    wp_lcgg_terms: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    wp_lcgg_term_taxonomy: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    wp_lcgg_term_relationships: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    wp_lcgg_termmeta: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly

    Does the host have a backup?

    If you have cPanel go to MySQL Databases. There should be buttons there to repair. If you get it repaired you need to establish a new database changing wp_lcgg to something else for security reasons.

    I was able to repair the database with the help of database repair software. Looks like I’m good to go. Thanks for the quick response!
