WordPress fails externally.

    I had this issue before, and I’m not sure how to resolve it. I just installed wordpress, and everything works fine internally. But when I view the wordpress site from another computer, no graphics load, and it is all text. Think of how new sites look in legacy browsers, thats what I see. However, the problem is not my browser. I’ve tried the site on three different browsers (Google Chome, Firefox, Internet Explorer), including the one I use on my server (Chome), and the result is the same. It just doesn’t work from the outside world (non localhost).

    My website is http://james.uni.me/wordpress or http://71.61.84.17/wordpress/ if my domain name doesn’t work… which I’ve been having trouble with it lately.

    You’re using //localhost in your WordPress addresses: http://localhost/wordpress/

    It will fail from every machine except the one it’s installed on. You need to install WordPress using your domain name (of course, your domain name must also resolve to your server ip address)

    Ah, thank you! I knew it had to be something simple… I can’t believe I didn’t think to check the settings tab.
