    My computer at work keeps going to the wordpress used at my old hosting account. Since the domain transferr I have uploaded a new wordpress and started a new account with a new theme, but myself and others have typed in the url and the old content came up.

    What can I do to get rid of the old wordpress altogether? I dont want it showing up anymore.

    delete the files.

    that’s not the source of your problem though. what you are experiencing is a basic mechanism of the Internet — DNS propagation.

    Will everything eventually point towards the new host and content? Should I just wait a bit or something?

    assuming you made the necessary nameserver changes? and that the new host did their job? yes.

    nameserver changes…gotta look into that. I should have done that where, when I set up the new wordpress? Can I do it from wp-admin?

    nevermind. I see that my host has the nameserver listed correctly.

    You are a big help. I was going to loose sleep over that, for sure. I am so green at this it isnt even funny.
