    I have the same issue as this earlier post I saw in the FAQ-

    The header image on the https pages is out of whack. It’s missing in FF and IE gives a ton of white space before the rest of the page. http://www.blackboxnynj.com

    Thing is, I don’t find any code with an absolute path that looks like the part you highlighted in that post. I checked header.php, the stylesheet, and searched a bunch of other files.

    I also played around with the various settings in the plugin and none helped.

    Any ideas, please? I’m not sure what else is needed to know about my site so I’ll first wait for a reply.

    Someone helped me- the problem was the Header Image Resizer plugin, it was transferring the image via HTTP. I deactivated the plugin, used a header image of standard size (for the Twenty Eleven theme, and it looked fine on the secure pages.
