• I’ve been using my iPhone to post and edit posts on my wordpress.com and self-hosted wordpress blog now for months. However, all of a sudden yesterday when I tried to refresh the screen to edit a post I’d made from my laptop I got (and continue to get) the following message:
    “NSXMLParserDomainError Error 1”

I deactivated plugins and that didn’t work. I checked for blank spaces and other stuff suggested from searches I’ve done on the site but nothing works. I also replaced the xml.php file with the original one from the 2.7 install files just in case.

The only thing I did that I haven’t undone was add Google AdSense code into my sidebar.php file, but that shouldn’t be causing the problem. I can actually post new posts to my blog using a different iphone app, but that one will not sync either.

    Any ideas?

  • It sounds like you might have some invalid characters. The FAQ says that it is a “common issue that can cause errors with the App”.

If your problem persists, I would suggest reporting it through the WordPress for iPhone site.

Thanks. I think I’ll try that.

I just realized it isn’t a problem with the app because every blogging app gives me a similar response. Basically they can only communicate with my blog one way to make posts but not to get posts from the blog. Like I said before my desktop apps have no problem
