I purchased a domain via GoDaddy, and now have a blog powered by wordpress. I can access the blog via my admin login just fine, but when I tried to install Jetpack, it asks for my WP login. It appears that I don’t have a wordpress login (which I thought was the same one I had been using to access my blog).

Do I need to create an additional wordpress account to add jetpack to my already existing wordpress blog?

You need an account at wordpress.COM to use Jetpack. This is a different account and login for either these forums or your own wordpress site.

Thanks, songdogtech. Can I create one, even though I already have a wordpress blog? If so, how?

wordpress.com and your own ww.wp.xz.cn site are different animals; activate jetpack and it will take you to the wordpress.com site to open an account.
