• Hi all!
I started this topic because i have seen (and been searching a long time ago) people looking for ways to modify their filenames in WordPress for several reasons.

This has always been a big headache for most people.

I’m glad to inform everybody that i have started a project recently which has a few flavors available based on WP 4.1 (currently 1 conversion has been completed successfully).

The project is called the MaskPress project.

You can find more info about it on [moderated]

These flavors are based on three separate root modifications.

Plugins will frequently be updated and added on request (via the forum).

I started this project because i have converted my own site a few years ago and noticed that there still isn’t much freely available around such a concept. (could be wrong i guess…?)

Anyway, the site is still under development but the first version called “Beanie” launched today.

I’ve also converted around 15 of current most popular plug-ins to be used with Beanie.

V1 is based on WordPress 4.1 and seems to work perfectly around.

I’d like to invite some of you guys who might be interested in such a platform and test it as a separate installation on their servers.

In the future i’m planning to create a plug-in which converts the entire root structure to a users liking.

Until then this is the only solution i can make public to anyone interested.

I hope you guys like the concept and are willing to give me some support to continue this project and to make it something big!

    Best Regards, Danny.
