    Hi there,

I’ve been using FileBird while setting up and feeding a new wordpress instance on a development environment with little or no complaint.

But now that I try to migrate it to a new environment (kind of PRE to PRO) everything is ok but folders are gone (I’ve tryed both setting up a new WP and importing a backup with AIO WP Migration and dumping db and files)

Am I missing somthing obvious? Thanks in advance!

P.S: both environments have most current version of both WP and FileBird used on a W2010 IIS

    Hi @fitoma ,

FileBird has this feature https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/filebird/set-folders-for-different-roles, are you sure that the user of the old site and the new site is the same account?
So to solve this issue, you may turn this option off before migrating the plugin.
Let me know if this helps.

    Best regards,
    Kelly

    Hi Kelly,

Checked it and it’s off. The user should be the same as it’s been migrated to WP from Active Directory and both environments are linked to the same LDAP server.

Update: I want to emphasise that this is a migration (with All-In-One WP Migration plugin) and source site works ok but target site looses folders. Weird, isn’t it? I’ll check the other plugin’s support forum as I may be blaming the inocent 🙂

Thanks for your reply. I’ll keep trying 🙂

    Hi,

The author(s) of the migration plugin suggest that “Maybe it [FileBird] is storing it’s data as base64 and we need to add support for it.”

Just in case it rings a bell 🙂

P.S: here, the other topic: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/import-wrecks-filebird-plugin-configuration/

    Thanks!

    Hi @fitoma ,

All-in-One WP Migration replied and they did not find any issue https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/import-wrecks-filebird-plugin-configuration/

Can you export the database and send mail to us [email protected] for a deep checking?

    Best regards,
    Kelly

    Hi,

I’m afraid I can’t do that. I would need to sanitize sensible data and doing so would take lots of time and most likely distort data for your checking.

Thank you so much for the offering.

Or you may to have developer to check the issue for you I think.
