If you know of any other developers who want to contribute to the source that is the best way to help get features worked on, otherwise its added to the queue which is pretty long right now…
As far as others who have gotten it to work, most are just personal emails I got from others users, they never left me details. One user left some information I’ll see if I dig up the information… I think one of the forum posts a user left some tips he made as well…
My recommendation at this point is to use NS Clonder for MU sites, until the community helps contribute more resources…

First of all, I’m sorry for posting my questions without further exploring around the internet yesterday. Only afterwards I found a few of your other related replies, as well as some additional information about possibilities to export/import/migrate WP Multisite.
I might be able to help, and I am willing to. Although I’m also quite busy for at least until the end of September. I’ll fork the project on Github and will let you know how it goes.
Lastly, thank you very much for the advice about NS Cloner. Somehow I must have missed it in my research. I’ll give it a try.
