WordPress Multisite: Members Capabilities inconsistent between subsites | ww.wp.xz.cn

Hi Members Folks,
I’m currently using Version 3.2.9 of the Members plugin on a WordPress multisite installation, and my current role is Super Admin. On this same multisite installation, I have installed the WP Code Lite plugin, which comes with two Capabilities: wpcode_activate_snippets and wpcode_edit_snippets.
Upon inspecting various subsites of the multisite installation, I’m finding inconsistencies among the subsites for the same roles, even though no settings are different (from what I can tell). For example, on site-1, the Capabilities for the Role: author will list wpcode_activate_snippets and wpcode_edit_snippets. However, on site-2, for Role: author, these two Capabilities are not present.
Have you ever come across this type of inconsistency for a multisite before, and if so, could you please advise on a resolution?

Hi @omarelhawary, thanks for responding.
Yes, ultimately I would like to sync Capabilities on the multisite so that every subsite has the same Capabilities options. In particular, I would like all subsites to have these two Capabilities in the Edit Capabilities: Custom list wpcode_activate_snippets and wpcode_edit_snippets. I would like these Custom Capabilties to be available for every Role.

Hi @matthewdhuntley,

Members plugin uses WordPress feature to keep roles in the database in the wp_options table in wp_user_roles option. We don’t have any feature to copy roles between subsites, but maybe this post will help you achieve what you want: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/243522/copy-user-role-on-multisite-so-the-user-can-access-subsites-with-same-role
