    Hi there,

This only happens on two websites, and all other websites are fine.

When there is an update for Elementor, WordPress never shows there is an update on the updates page. I have to keep downloading the plugin from here, and then override the existing version.

Any idea why this would be?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

When WordPress doesn’t show that there’s an update available, it usually means the site can’t properly reach the update server or the update check is being cached. Here are the two most common reasons:

    1. The server or hosting is blocking the update check: Some hosting providers block external requests, which prevents WordPress from checking for updates.

    2. Caching is showing outdated update information: This can be caused by server cache, a caching plugin, or object caching.

Try clearing all caches and then go to:Dashboard > Updates > Check again

You can also look under Tools > Site Health to see if WordPress reports any issues with background updates. Go to Tools > Site Health > Info > WordPress Constants

Check whether WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE or DISALLOW_FILE_MODS are enabled. Both can prevent update checks.

    Hope this helps.
