    When I attempt to validate my blog using the W3C Markup Validation Service at http://validator.w3.org/ I get this result:

    This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!

    Should WP blogs always validate as XHTML 1.0?

    no, it’s completely dependent on:
    – theme used
    – plugins used

    Like davidchait said, it depends on who wrote the theme or plugin. Some folks validate the code before release and some don’t. C’est la vie.

    So, apparently, it doesn’t matter. I suppose if I want my blog to be read by machines it would help to have valid xhtml. But I see little advantage in that…
