WordPress Objects in Controls ( or Custom)

Hello,

First off, heartfelt gratitude for this awesome plugin. It’s brilliant and saved me a lot of work.

I want to create a block, which one of the control as “Category” and “Post” ( essentially any WordPress object) picker.

I know its not supported by the plugin, so i tried to play around with custom controls template that you have provided with no success, if you can give sample custom control to pick the category, I will be able to co-relate and add other WordPress objects like Posts, CPT , Taxonomy etc.
