WordPress on temporary url using IP address

Hi

I have a site in asp and wanted to convert it to wordpress.
I have setup a wordpress site using a temporary url such as http://IP-ADDRESS/website url on a different server.

Once the temporary site was ready I pointed the domain to the new IP address. Now when searching for the site it redirects to my new wordpress site hompage but when I click on navigation tabs it redirects to the temporay IP address. I also don’t think mod-rewrite is setup on the server.

I’m not sure what the problems is and more importantly I’m not sure how to resolve it. 🙁

Any words of wisdom woudl be greatly appreciated.
