Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache?
Thanks for the reply sir.
No, I am not using a caching plugin. However 10 minutes ago, I saw Jetpack plugin’s missing_secrets error and at this site I downloaded a small plugin to purge my object cache. It did not help.
By the way, I can’t set a featured image for the posts. I think these issues are related.
How much access do you have to your server? It could be that outgoing http requests are blocked at the firewall (port 80)
Can you give us an example of one plugin which won’t update, and what version it lists in your Dashboard?
netweaver – phil,
Thanks, I believe that it is a server-sided problem becasue I haven’t changed anything for weeks. I asked what you said to hosting company and they said http requests are not blocked, there is no firewall could do this and there is no problem at port 80.
Even my new uploaded photos don’t show up. They look like just this in library.
James Huff (MacManX),
Some of them: Jetpack (3.1.1), Yet Another Related Posts Plugin (4.2.2) All In One SEO Pack (2.1 I haven’t used this one for a long time but there must be a notification.) Even my theme has a newer version but when i go to update-core.php page it says there is no update for plugins and themes. It is just like it can’t connect somehow.
Have you reached your hosting provider’s space limit?
