WordPress project Release to New Server

    Hi All,

    I have 3 years of experience in Software Development but I am new to WordPress.

    I would like to know What is the exact way of releasing any new changes that we did to our wordpress site. According to my understanding now we have to put both code and database into the server because most of the link that we added “reference” is in database.

    There are hundred of transaction records in the live but not in development server. In this kind of situation how can we solve this.

    If this is going to be a regular occurence, consider syncing your live and development databases with a plugin like WP Migrate DB Pro

    Otherwise, if you know the tables that have new records, you can always import specific tables in the live database.
