• If none of you can help me with the below, do you know how I can contact someone at WordPress? This forum stuff usually never pans out for me.
I recently created a Squarespace website for my client (her request) and after I made the site live, replacing her old site, she informed me that she could no longer access her wordpress login. She did not let me know she even had a wordpress login/blog until it was too late. I did not realize she had WordPress because her old site was created in Joomla. Squarespace does not support WordPress, but they do however have an import option. I have tried importing the content how they suggest, but it does not work. It always fails. I have contacted her old host, they cannot help. I have contacted other web designers, they also cannot help. I have contacted Sqaurespace and they really don’t know anything about WordPress, so again…no help. I need to be able to get to her wp-login page or just her wordpress. It has not been deleted so it still exists, I just need to recover the content from it. Any ideas? And I have also gone to the wordpress support>recovery tab, but my client does not have the info they request for that because someone else set up her old website.

You could hire a developer that is familiar with both WordPress and Squarespace to see if they can help you sort this issue out. While many developers focus on one or the other, there might be someone who has experience with both.

WordPress and Squarespace are independent content management systems.

ww.wp.xz.cn is used on self hosted websites. We are volunteers on the forum.

Squarespace is a hosted solution. (i.e. not self hosted–I would not expect support staff at Squarespace to specialize in WordPress)

If your client had a WordPress.com website it MIGHT be still available (unless the owner decided to delete it) This forum is not used for WordPress.com

    REMOTE POSSIBILITY:
Assuming the client’s WordPress website was self-hosted, have you checked inside the hosting account in PHPMYADMIN to see if there are any database tables still existing with any content from the WordPress installation?
