    I received this email (in spam …) from WordPress;

    “Hi!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, wpDiscuz.

First, visit your website (https://oldfreegame.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://oldfreegame.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.8.2
Current theme: Astra Child (version 1.0.0)
    Current plugin: wpDiscuz (version 7.3.8)
    PHP version 7.4.25

The message appears to be not spam.

First of all, please remove the “recovery mode” link. It’s private information and shouldn’t be posted publicly.

Please let us know if you’ve changed the wpDiscuz codes or not.

    Link deleted.

I have not made any changes to Wpdiscuz. I’ve been trying to solve the problems that have been plaguing me for 3-4 days.

Then, you can deactivate the wpDiscuz plugin, delete it, then find and install the wpDiscuz again.

I’ll explain; I have edited Wpdiscuz, but not in the last week. I would not like that by deleting the plugin, some custom CSS will no longer go.

Have you found a solution in the last 3 days? The email arrived in spam 3 days ago.

All customization should be made as it’s mentioned in this instruction: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/customization/custom-template-and-style/

That is, the customized files are not located in the wpDiscuz folder. In this case, you can easily delete the main wpDiscuz plugin and installed it again.

We’ve checked one more time and the issue may come only if the file is customized.

I do not understand. I made the customizations in the Astra child theme.

Thant’s fine if the customized files are stored in the Astra child theme. This means that if you delete the wpDiscuz and install it again, your customizations won’t be lost.

    Ok.

I’m having trouble with your plugin. It will be the fourth or fifth time. The changes stop working CSS and JS.
