    Hi

recently I moved to a new environment based on Apache 2.4 and PHP 7.28 in Beanstalk. Then I downloaded plugin as usually do and when I was in admin panel and clicked on activate, WP returned a 404 error:

    10.0.101.230 (83.57.9.254) – – [19/Aug/2018:22:19:07 +0000] “GET /wp-admin/plugins.php?action=activate&plugin=wp-mail-smtp%2Fwp_mail_smtp.php&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s&_wpnonce=3c2453c703 HTTP/1.1” 302 366 “https://www.rubenortiz.es/wp-admin/plugins.php” “Mozilla/5.0

I did not see any error in apache logs. I activated other plugins with no error as well.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Hey rubendob,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you check your PHP error log? That will probably provide better clues over the Apache log 🙂

    Hey Jared

sorry to bother you guys, turns out was an issue with WordPress Firewall 2. I disabled it and then WP back to normal behavior. I was able to activate the plugin.

    Thanks!!
