WordPress site not reporting to Google Analytics

I have a new WordPress site that uses the Genesis framework. I have installed and activated Insert headers and Footers and added the Google Analytics tag to the header. I have used this account for a previous website. I checked Google Analytics later and it indicated that the tag was reporting data and showed that I had one visitor. I checked later and it said that the tag was not installed. I have checked back on my WordPress site and the tag is still in the header.
