WordPress still passing old API key?
-
Hi there,
I run a self-hosted wordpress site on which I recently installed Woocommerce, WCFM Ultimate + Groups & Staff plugins. I had everything running just the way I wanted it and Stripe payments were working find in Test Mode.
I then switched over to Live Mode in Stripe and updated my WCFM settings accordingly, using live publish and secret keys, plus live Client ID, and disabling Test Mode on the WCFM dashboard also. When I tried to charge myself a vendor subscription fee. I received an error message: No such plan. A similar object exists in live mode, but this request but a test mode key was used to make this request.
After double-checking that Stripe was in Live mode and making sure my subscription plan was correctly set up (a product I created in Stripe’s Live Mode, not in Test Mode), I contacted WCFM and Stripe. WCFM didn’t get back to me. Stripe told me that WordPress was still passing the old API keys instead of the new.
I’d already tried uninstalling and re-installing the WCFM plugins, but that didn’t help (there is an option to remove all data upon uninstall and I had that option enabled). I tried searching MyPHP Admin for “WCFM” and deleting all results, but when I reinstall the plugin, it still remembers all my old settings. I’ve also tried doing the purchase in a different browser but the result is exactly the same: no such plan etc.
I also tried some cache cleaner plugins but these didn’t do the trick either. I’m not a developer by any means, so these attempts were just based on suggestions found by Google search.
I’m completely at a loss and can’t seem to get any help from the plugin developers, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
