A little more info about your site would be really helpful.
Hi Matt 🙂 It’s actually not my site, so I don’t have much more info. I’m providing code to a third-party who is trying to put it into his WP site, which is http://www.directrecruiters.com/for-candidates/view-opportunities. I should be able to pass a query string through to that iframe on the page (we do this on other sites), but his WP is dumping anything that’s tacked onto the URL. I wasn’t sure what to tell him to look for, and he’s not particularly WP-savvy.
Are you able to replicate the issue with ALL plugins deactivated; and switched to the default 2015 theme?
I’m not actually able to get into his site myself, but I can suggest that as a step for him. I just didn’t know if there was anything in the permalinks or other base-level WP stuff that might cause an issue like this before I tell him to start shutting off plugins.
Gotcha.
I’m not sure how WordPress handles query parameters from links within the editor. But, I would think they would pass along fine.
By disabling all plugins and switching to the default 2015 theme; we can rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme setting causing the issue.
If it works fine with all defaults; then you can switch back to the theme and try again. If it works; continue to the plugins. If it does not, you know it’s the theme.
