WordPress switching permalinks without permission

    Hello

    I have an issue with the WordPress site I’m currently working on.

    [ Moved to the Fixing WordPress sub-forum. ]

    When I create a page, product or blog page, WordPress switches the permalink I have provided with a permalink that already exists. This results in a lot of broken links as I don’t always notice the error.
    The link it replaces my link with, seems to be randomly selected between the products, categories, blog and static pages.

    The switch happens when I press “create” or “update” it loads for a while and then updates, but now with a different permalink. I can then change the permalink, update again and now its saved under the correct link. How ever, If i repeat the process – press update again, once more it switches the link with a different one.

    What in the worlds are going on? Never, have I ever experienced this with WordPress before. It’s incredibly frustrating.

    Can it be the theme I’m using? Anyone experienced the same? Anyone got a solution? I can provide a video of the issue – if necessary.

    Can you tell us name of the theme your using and list of all active plugins?

    I’m using Avada Theme Fusion
