I’ve downgraded to GT Tabs 3.1 and the options are now back. So the issue is specific to WordPress Tabs 4.0.2.

Can you tell me, did it prevent the plugin from rendering correctly in the front-end or just effect the back-end admin menu?

In such situation, it should be ok in the front-end and broken in the back-end.
That happens regularly with updates.

For reasons I don’t remember clearly right now (but that may have disappeared with this new version), I’m also using another tabs plugin titled WP UI which is now “deprecated”. May you be interested to investigate compatibility issues if I redo a page that may display an issue ?
