• Just starting up on wordpress, fresh install apart from the theme I purchased.

    For some reason, there is a lot of random flickering of images and links. I’ve contacted the developer (noticed it does it on his demo as well), but so far no reply.

    Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

    EDIT – I think I can see what the issue is, however not sure how to resolve it. I went into debug made and saw that anything with the below, would flicker

    style="opacity: 1;"

    The code would change very quickly to something like

    style="opacity: 0.95;"

    (It really was so quick it was hard to make out!

    Does that ring any bells with anyone?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hallo there 🙂

    Commercial products are not supported on these forums.
    The good news is that purchasing a theme normally includes a period of premium support.
    Please contact your theme author so that they can assist you with your issue.

    All the best!

    I’m not seeing any flickering. I recommend asking at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/90s-retro#new-post so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Thank you for your replies. Apologies for posting in the wrong section.
    I have dropped the developer an email.

    Worrying if no-one else see’s the flickering! I’ve tried on 3 different browsers and also on mobile and see it. Seems to cycle around the page, so image, link, next link etc.

    Thaks again chaps.
