  • I had this problem. Please check your php version. WordPress recommends ver 7.2 or higher. Your hosting provider should be able to update this if it out of date.

PHP ver. is 7.2 but the problem came after update 5.0

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Where/how exactly are you receiving that error?

Following the earlier steps posted, did you try with all plugins deactivated while only using the Twenty Nineteen theme? If so, which specific plugin or theme was causing the problem?

I tried disable all plugin with my theme but not work. With Health Checker also work but all is disable {plugin}.

After change theme everything works perfect with all plugin,
    What now to do?

Ok, so the problem is being introduced by your theme. What is the name of your theme, and where did you acquire it?

Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel: https://templatepath.ticksy.com/

In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Moderator replied: Hi,We didn’t released the update yet.You need to downgrade the WP version. We will try to release the update soon.

Downgrade the WP version how smart is this?

Do you have a backup of your site from before you updated? If so, the only 100% safe way is to restore that backup.

You might want to consider switching to a newer theme instead though.

The betas for WordPress 5.0 have been publicly available for testing for months, to help avoid this very thing. If your theme’s developers waited until the last minute to test their theme on WordPress 5.0, or possibly didn’t even test it until you reported the problem, that’s not a good sign for your theme’s future.

If you choose to change your theme, these are all free: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/browse/new/

What do you think about the possibility to rent a CSS programmer on Fiverr to fix the css problem?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

That would always be a possibility, we recommend https://jobs.wordpress.net
