Hello, I have an e-commerce website on WordPress with customized themes and functionalities.
Today I received an email that WordPress was automatically updated and upgraded to 5.4.2. version.
Is this process happen automatically on each ww.wp.xz.cn website?
Does it influence the working of the website and its customized items? I will mention, that I don’t want to update installed plugins.Thank you in advance for your assistance!

WordPress may auto-update itself if there’s any major security update(special case). So disabling automatic updates is not recommended as it’s an important security feature. But if it’s important for you to stop plugins from auto-update then you can find the solution in the given link.
Also, it is possible that your hosting provider has a mechanism to update the WP automatically.

There’s a plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-downgrade/ for that but it’s always recommend to have the latest version
