wordpress users panel admin listings

my wordpress users tab says that I have 2 administrators listed, but only shows 1 name. before I discovered this, I had tried to enter a second administrator/password, but when I try and log in it says there is no such user/password, so I am unsure what is going on? I have tried clicking “all”, as well as “administrators” to reveal the other user, but nothing happens. I had used my same e-mail address when trying to create another user. is that allowed?

I had many changes made by my server support (some bad and had to be fixed), over the past few days and they changed my password. I was trying to actually add a new admin and then get rid of my other (first) user log in because that kind of made me feel uncomfortable.

not sure how concerned I should be about any of this? any advice or help?
