• For some reason when my users signup… its using my hosts email account… so they get an email from [email protected]

They don’t even know its from my system.

Any ideas? This is the new 1.5 WordPress.

That all depends on how your host has setup that part of the server. WordPress sends my emails from [email protected] as [email protected] .

I am getting the very same problem. Is there anything that can be done within the programs configuration or do I simply need to speak to my ISP to configure this for me?

I want users to receive an email from [email protected]. If I do need my ISP to resolve this for me, what exactly (technically) am I asking them to do?

The setting which uses the server name is set during initial install by install.php. Has anyone discovered a way to change the setting after installation?

Apparently this topic was never resolved…

Users signing up get an email from “[email protected]”. How can I replace that with [email protected]?

Following macmanx’s advise I contacted my hosting company. They sent me this unhelpfull reply:

You will need to modify the script (usually a configuration script) so that it uses your e-mail address sends the e-mail from [email protected]

So which script should I modify how?
